This week my weekly treat came in the form of a home hair dye by Clairol Expert Collection, the shade was - Medium Blonde. I'm quite partial to a home hair dye as a frugal mama and needed a quick spruce up to feel a little more glam for a family wedding, a family with lots of beautiful girls!
I had really bad roots, my hair was dry and it was in desperate need of a freshen up. I chose Clairol's new Age Defy selection. I'm not that old (31) but figured it would be good to brighten up my hair and give it a good conditioning treatment. I love trying new ones that come on the market and the price is really good too.
The kit was lovely and easy to use and my hair has had a much needed makeover, what a treat. The kit includes pre-treatment sachets which protect your hair when applied before application, I loved this idea with my hair being already slightly damaged. I sat and relaxed and did some reading while the dye worked its magic, washed, styled and voila! What do you think?
