Win £500 With Carpetright! #TakeToTheFloor

Do you love strictly? I have always loved dancing and we've watched the programme on and off from the start, but seeing my son twist and twirl to the music (the only time he is allowed to stay up late!) has given me a real love for it. It's become a lovely time to sit and watch with some Saturday night treats and enjoy a little boogie together in front of our cosy fire. Priceless!

If like me you’re one of the 8 million people that love dancing along to Strictly on a Saturday night at home, you might be interested in this fantastic competition from Carpetright. I'm going to enter as I love a good home makeover (and a dance!), so thought I had better share. All you have to do to enter is upload a photo or video of your best 'lounge lambada' or 'kitchen quick step' and you could win £500 towards a stylish new laminate floor from Carpetright! There is nothing to lose but a lot to gain. If you need some inspiration you can check out the video below, and enter the competition by clicking HERE.

The brilliant Arlene Phillips has teamed up with Carpetright to bring us some amazing tutorials as well, so we can officially learn dancing from home. One of my favourites is the samba! You can learn this with Arlene's video below. This week, Jamelia and Tristan are dancing the Samba to one of my favourite songs, I can try out my best moves right there with them! In all honestly, I am pretty hopeless at dancing (graceful as an elephant according to my mother!) but I love having a try. Mr. Waffle will have none of it, so I am really grateful for my eager four year old twinkle toes! I think we will have to get practising for our entry, if I can stay on two feet I'll be happy, but to win would be amazing! Laminate flooring makes a much better dance floor, so I can blame my clumsy moves on my pesky carpet!

For full information on how to submit your entry, (as well as the full terms and conditions), just pop over to Carpetright where you can also view all the other brilliant tutorials! Best of luck to any one else entering!

Time to get those dancing shoes on - or slippers,
