In The Kitchen With: ALDI

Coordinate & Kit Out Your Kitchen: 5th May

This week at ALDI brings one of my absolute favourite Specialbuy ranges. The fantastic kitchen gadgets and accesories range, including all sorts of coordinating products from sorbet makers to pots and pans.

ALDI will have everything needed to refresh our kitchens with a splash of colour, or update those tired toasters at their usual bargain prices.

If you have recently moved home or are thinking of updating your kitchen favourites, then it's well worth popping into store. Aside from the essential basics like tea towels (5 for £3.49) and gadgets/utensils from just £1.99, you can find stylish and exciting gadgets like the brilliant Hobbs Grind & Brew coffee machine (£69.99), programmable to prepare your coffee for you at a time you request.

We were sent samples of the Russell Hobbs Canterbury toaster & kettle as pictured below and after using them this week, I can't believe that you can buy both of these at just £14.99 each, total bargains and perfect for those starting out or just wanting some affordable coordinating gadgets to their kitchen.

Top buys

There are so many great deals but here are some of my top buys for this week;

  • Russel Hobbs microwave - £44.99
  • Professional style frying pan - £12.99
  • 3 piece ceramic coated pan set - £19.99
  • Plastic bowl set inc. colander - £6.99
  • Water filter jug/cartridges - £12.99
  • Stay put chopping boards - £6.99
  • Clip lid storage containers - £3.99

My absolute favourite item from this range is the set of grey and mustard storage canisters (below) these are amazing quality - really chunky and pretty, suitable for use in any room and a total bargain at just £5.99 for the set which are completely stackable with pretty patterns (and no text!). I'm using mine in our bedroom for makeup storage instead of the usual coffee, tea & sugar - what would you use them for?

If you are a budding cook and like a good looking kitchen on a budget, then Aldi absolutely have you covered on this one. These items would make the perfect gifts too and if you are storage addict like me, there is a great selection!

We do most our food shopping in Aldi now as I've mentioned before and it makes a huge difference on your pockets, not to mention the fact that their ranges are growing by the day!

ALDI's 'Coordinate and kit out your kitchen' range is in stores from this Thursday and if you'd like a sneaky preview of the full product range or to find your local store, you can pop over to the ALDI website for full details.

Happy shopping!
