Lean Greens: Review

Eat Drink your greens!

When it comes to eating greens I'm pretty good most the time. I love healthy food but I Know I don't always get nearly enough of what I need for my body to run a little more smoothly.

Having tried a few things similar before, I can safely say that usually if it's green it tastes mean and not something I would want to have to stomach every morning, nor would I want to create my own concoctions due to the cost of all the raw ingredients.

I was asked if I would like to try Lean Greens for the blog as part of my healthy venture and I must admit I was a little sceptical and slightly dreading the thought of chugging down green stuff again, but happy to give this a try.

Thankfully, Lean Greens is something a little different. Lean greens have somehow managed to make a drink that tastes OK and supports a healthy diet, filling the gaps and boosting the system with antioxidants and goodness.

I massively struggle to get enough greens into my diet, a handful of spinach in my salads isn't going to give me everything I need, so I LOVE that I can quickly mix up this magical potion and actually not hate the taste! I can't say I love it, but for the health benefits it is much more palatable than similar products.

The usual green sludgy look takes some getting over but this is fine to drink and super easy to take in without than usual gag that comes with these types of drinks. I love that the people at Lean Greens have taken the importance of taste on board when so many don't.

Lean greens comes in a powdered form and can be mixed simply with water, or in any other way you would like to mix it, such as smoothies and shakes which makes it perfect for on the go.

Lean Greens is naturally sweetened with Stevia so it is very healthy and although it wouldn't be my number one choice of beverage, the benefits of the nutrients make it a great way to get all those greens into your system and take the stress out of balancing every meal perfectly.
I am so desperate to get healthy this year and I love that this just feels good, it feels clean and I just love the positive points to this powder such as the metabolism boosters and digestive enzymes that help keep our insides healthy which will eventually shine through to the outside too. I haven't managed to keep up a regular enough habit with this yet to see vast benefits but I will keep trying this and having as often as I can along wth my healthy foods.

I prefer this to be super cold so I tend to put water in my mixer bottle in the fridge over night so it's nice and chilled for the morning. This just makes it a little fresher feeling and easier to drink with a morning thirst.
