Papa Style || Autumn With Jacamo

As part of our big home declutter recently, it's not just me that's had a good clear out and wardrobe overhaul. Adam (Mr. W) has also cleared out his unloved clothes, making way for some new staple items to see him through Autumn and beyond.

Recently, the guys from the Jacamo menswear got in touch to see if we would like to have a browse of their site and best of all, choose some much needed wardrobe fillers to freshen up Adam's look for Autumn, the season of layering. After a long time looking through the vast website, Adam finally made his choices. The website has so much to choose from for every occasion, weather scenario and style, so it wasn't an easy choice. Before this collaboration, I had presumed for some reason that Jacamo was a plus size men's website, but actually it's for all shapes and sizes. Adam is usually a medium in menswear, but was careful to check measurements on the site against his own to ensure the best fit. We rarely shop online for clothes and he can be so hard to buy for, but actually this was a great way for him to shop; no kids running around while we look, more choice and less aggro all round.

Adam's Picks

1. FLINTOFF BY JACAMO LONG SLEEVE MELANGE SHIRT | 2. FENCHURCH STRANDED SHIRT | 3. JACAMO DRAKE RAGLAN | 4. JACAMO WOODY BOMBER

The first thing I have to say is that the package arrived expertly packed. We received our items just like any other customer and experienced no problems with delivery or the items which were wrapped up really well. Secondly and thanks to Adam's careful measuring, all the items fit absolutely perfectly, like ridiculously perfectly in length, sleeves, everything. Big thumbs up from this fussy shopper and his relieved wife (who now has somewhere easy to look for clothing gifts!).

Adam loves wearing shirts, they see you through the year, can be dressed up or down and they're pretty comfy too. The Flintoff shirt is a classic checked staple item for every mans wardrobe, great quality and well shaped. We love this shirt as it's just simple with small details, no big prints or silly slogans like a lot of menswear elsewhere.

The shirt sits really nicely under one of Adam's other picks, the bomber jacket which has been worn a lot since it's arrival - definitely a good sign. This is such a simple lightweight jacket, perfect for this time of year. The weather can be so unpredictable in Autumn, so extra layers are a welcome alternative to chunky coats and means you can wear more layers underneath.

The jacket is plain black with simple silver chunky zip. The perfect jacket for day to day wear or chilly nights out.

We've always liked Fenchurch clothing and we rarely see it now so loved seeing it on Jacamo. Adam chose a denim Fenchurch shirt, another simple must have shirt with small extra detailing made from a lightweight quality fabric that looks and wears well.

Although I shop a lot, a little too much maybe, Adam rarely gets bits for himself, so this wardrobe top up could not have come at a better of time, with a family holiday and lads weekend away next month. He's now armed with a good selection of clothes and a fresher look. I failed to get a picture of the raglan tee shirt in action, but again it fits well and who doesn't love a raglan? It's really nice quality and not at all clingy which is something Adam, despite being pretty slim really dislikes. We had a date night yesterday and he was wearing his Jacamo favourites, looking handsome.

We've both been really impressed with Jacamo. For some reason I had interpreted the advertising completely wrong, but now know that pretty much every man will be catered for clothes wise in one way or another. Online shopping is a bit of a godsend especially for parents, so we will definitely be back for more, with a few bits already earmarked for his next shop and Christmas list!

Have you shopped with Jacamo before?

* We were sent items in exchange for an honest review. All words, thoughts and images are my own - except the collage pics which are from the Jacamo website.
