Tackling Sleep || Benenox Overnight Recharge

As much as I love my blog work and being a Mum, both contribute largely to a sever lack of sleep for me. Whilst using a sleep tracker recently, I found that I was on average getting a whopping three hours sleep, with just half of that being deep sleep. It's no wonder I feel so lethargic and run down all the time, I honestly thought I had double that at night!

I'm terrible for working late, but also stay up reading or playing games on my phone to clear my head, as I can often lay there thinking about anything and everything, even staying up the whole night a few times or giving up and setting up camp on the area rugs downstairs for a sleepless night.

I was recently asked to trial Benenox, and received a beautiful box of goodies, containing two bottles of their overnight recharge products in two flavours. I'm always a little apprehensive about trying something new when it comes to medicine and supplements, but after a few weeks of terrible sleep, this came at a perfect time.

So what is Benenox and how does it work?

Benenox is a night time mind fuel for those who struggle with disrupted sleep, tiredness, low energy and concentration levels the following day. This is me to a tee! With a combination of honey, Sustamine® and Vitamin B6, which, when taken before bed, supplements your body’s stored energy levels to support good quality sleep, leaving you feeling fully recharged and ready to take on the day ahead. Sounds good right?

With the help of Benenox, we should feel benefits like a reduction in daily fatigue as well as improved energy levels in the day time. Benenox contains honey to boost glycogen stores, Sustamine to help store the glycogen and vitamin B6 which has been shown to increase energy levels.
In a consumer trial of 140 patients, after using Benenox Overnight Recharge nightly for 1 week:

  • 81% of patients were pleased with the results

  • 75% agreed that their quality of sleep was better

  • 64% agreed or strongly agreed that they felt less tired in the morning

  • 76% stated that their ability to concentrate was better

  • 76% stated that their effectiveness at work/study/other activities was better

Taking all that into account, Benenox sounded perfect for an overworked, tired Mum like me, with a hankering for staying up late enjoying the peace! Here's how I got on.

Benenox and me

Despite being a bit apprehensive about taking this, I've been pleasantly surprised. I honestly didn't think I would see a difference having felt so low in energy for years, but I have felt better! If I'm honest I'm not too keen on the lemon and ginger flavour, but do really like the blackcurrant. Either way, it's down the hatch in seconds so taste isn't a huge factor.

The big difference I felt with Benenox was during the day and first thing in the morning. I felt much more energised, I felt like my foggy brain had cleared a little and I was able to think easier (as weird as that sounds), I felt better rested and guess my body reacted really well to Benenox. I can't remember the last time I woke up and didn't want to just go back to sleep, but with this I felt a bit more like I could tackle the day ahead.

It was weird really, as I really didn't expect anything, so I'm very pleased and will definitely buy this again when it runs out, especially while the kids are little and exhausting! The difference is noticeable quickly and has been a really welcome product for me.

Benenox is available right now online at Amazon (affiliate link below) as well as Tesco, priced at  an RRP of £12.49 for 135ml. You really can't put a price on getting good sleep if you suffer, so for me I think this is a worthy investment.
