Have yourself a Scandi little kitschmas...
December, of course, has been all about the Christmas decorations and making our homes feel warm and festive. There are lots of ways of creating a Christmas home nowadays, from chic Scandinavian styling to all out golden glamour.
Although I'm a fan of the traditional trees and wreaths, when it comes to decorations for other areas of the home there has been a few looks I've favoured this year and I've much preferred a less cluttered look, removing 'regular' trinkets temporarily to allow extra space for the glittery Christmas goodies.
Here's a few items and looks that have influenced our home styling this year along with a little kitschmas spirit that I'll be embracing next year!

I've seen a lot of 'Kitschmas' pictures popping up this year and it does really appeal to me. I'll be collecting a few brighter coloured bits in the sales ready to store away for next Christmas. We don't have a Pinterest worthy bright white home though, so I'll tie it in with a bit of a darker, slightly traditional, slightly Scandi look like the pictures below too.

I've loved decorating our home for Christmas, but I can't wait to pack it away and have some space back! I've already earmarked a few bits in the shops that I want to buy in the sales, so I'm looking forward to remodeling a few areas in our home too.
How did you decorate this Christmas?
