Travelling with kids is rarely easy and comes with a lot of shifting big hefty seats around to keep them safe and comfortable. We've been doing more and more journeys in cars with friends and family lately and I must say having to fit two seats can be a real pain.
We were recently asked to review a new travel car seat from BubbleBum that is a small inflatable and totally safe booster seat for ages four plus. This seat is super easy to inflate, simple to fit in place and easy to carry around - perfect. This seat is ideal for taking on holiday, using in a taxi, coach or friends and families vehicles and comes in a small carry pouch meaning it can be easily kept in your handbag or suitcase.

We first used our BubbleBum seat on a trip out with grandparents and it was instantly far easier and saved a lot of time setting up to get on our way. I love that there are clips at the side for the belt to anchor the seat down and provide a better fit. The seat feels comfortable and inflates in just a few seconds with a very easy twist valve system. Alf loves his big seat as he likes the head rest but was very comfortable in this and cuddled up with a teddy for the extra comfort for his head.
I think the price at £29.99 is pretty good considering the price of large car seats and high back boosters that do very little more than this. This does provide a very safe seating position and he found it comfortable to sit on - it was more me getting used to the idea that he didn't have a full high back seat than anything else. This is made from high quality products and feels super strong for those fidgety little bottoms and perfect if you struggle to fit three car seats in a row in your car.
On our journeys so far, we've had no complaints from Alf, we would definitely use this in taxis now and it's so handy to pop in friends cars without having to worry about heaving a large seat around for him. This would be a great buy for grandparents that have the need for a car seat at times but not daily. There is no reason this couldn't be used daily but for us it will definitely be more helpful to keep packed up ready to use on those more spontaneous days and trips out in other vehicles.
