We've had a lovely week again this week, mainly all about self care and happiness which we all need by the bucket load right now. I did a home hair cut for Adam which I was really pleased with but I don't think he was too keen. Alfie and Sophie have been playing together lots and Soph baked a cake all by herself. We have done school work here and there and have lots printed out for next week!
I've taken some beautiful pet pictures in lock down and our fur babies I think are getting used to posing - ha! Look at their beautiful little faces. I think they're enjoying having us all home, opening doors for them, extra dog walks and even more feeding times!
I've been busy working on prints for my shop and had a fair few orders in lock down, I guess people are all sorting their homes and hanging wall art which has been a bonus for me. I've really enjoyed drawing more plants and flowers and getting stuck into some wildlife drawings too.
We've had some really lovely sunny weather this week, so school work has taken a bit of a back seat in exchange for some fun, splashing in the paddling pool and some much needed vitamin D. Soph was really loving it, she's a little sun monkey and made me laugh with her little inventions to keep shaded and relaxed!
We had a great street party for VE day, it was lovely seeing so many neighbours out and we were given (from a distance!) cakes and drinks to share. The kids loved the day and we ended up staying out until midnight with neighbours in our gardens, something we'd never do normally.
This week I treated myself to some new clothes on Shein which were amazing, I'm so happy to have some clothes that fit and sit my style. I hadn't ordered from Shein before so was a little apprehensive about ordering but I was so impressed, it's all good quality, the sizing is perfect and each item comes in its own little zip lock bag which we can use again for swimming etc. Soph also had her denim jacket spruced by Adam. They worked on a design for the back and even added some studs, she really loves it!
