Life || March

March has been great, we've had lots of tee shirt weather which is always lovely, everything is blooming, trees are getting greener and it all just gives you a great big boost. I've felt the benefits of my sports massage all month, I've had less pain, I've slept better and my muscles don't feel crampy all the time. I am so happy it lasted all month and I cant wait for my next one this week which will make sure I'm all loosened up for our holiday over Easter. I've had my paints out this month preparing some backgrounds, stocked my Etsy store with a few new images and smashed my blog by more than tripling my traffic. Best of all though, I've finished all my book illustrations so now it's just final touches and I can upload to Amazon - hurrah! This was a goal of mine last year so I was determined to get this done so I can read it to Alf's class in school, fingers crossed it gets accepted on Amazon and I can get a real hard copy of all my hard work.

THINGS I ENJOYED IN March

Wearing - I have been all about the sweatshirts in March, with a bit of floral, all the head scarves and makeup! I've felt good this month and having a more organised wardrobe is helping so much. I don't really dress up much, so I'm focusing on getting casual clothes that I feel good when I'm out shopping.

Food & Drink - I've been pretty much addicted to hot cross buns ('tis the season) and even had lashings of butter, I'm still getting healthy but know now that you have to have these treats too or they become too desirable and I end up binge eating them and undoing any good work. I've been trying to drink more water and eat proper meals in the day too, so things are looking up.

Watched - I've been loving 'Line of duty' from the BBC, and after watching the first few series on Netflix, I'm now onto series four on the iPlayer and then all ready for series five which has just started this week. This ones all about police corruption and it's great! I've also really enjoyed the new series on Netflix from Ricky Gervais called 'Afterlife'. This story is so well written, it's a tear jerker and really true to life, he was great in it too. This week we're watching the new series of the OA which is bloody amazing but very weird in a good way, well worth checking out.

Disliked - The thing I've disliked most in March has to be other parents at school run times. I always go on about how much I dislike the school run and this is why. We all have to squeeze through one tiny gate, it is what it is, but many of the parents (it's pretty much just the other mothers though) are so pushy, rude and sweary. One lovely American mum was even assaulted one day, what the heck is going on?!

Loved - I loved our day out at Tattershall castle in Lincs, but also I've loved a pretty much pain free month following my sports massage at the end of February, it makes a huge difference to my life and happiness not waking up in pain or having to ask for help to turn over!

Most popular blog post - My most popular posts published in March were;

Favourite Photo - This was my favourite photo from March. Our day out at Tattershall castle was so lovely, with lots of sunshine and spring flowers everywhere.

So that was March for me, how was yours?
