I've spent a lot of time during lock down one and two getting creative and this has meant a few changes to my shop, illustrations and workload. I've now gone back to working from home full time as I was just finding life too manic with a part time job and it was messing mith my health too much. It has been great getting back into the swing of things and making some of the planned changes happen.
The first change is that I'm removing my older simpler cartoon like illustrations from Etsy. I love them and will never stop drawing, but as they are currently they rarely sell and they look so different to the work I've done later which are gradually starting to sell, so it just doesn't make sense to have them there as they are right now.
Secondly, I've added other options to my listings after having enquiries for smaller and larger prints, as well as brown Kraft paper for some of my monochrome designs for something a little different. I love Kraft paper (recycled brown card) and think it looks great with the simple black lines. I've been trying to up my game on Instagram as it does seem to be the best place for getting sales currently. So if you want to see what I've been up to, pop over to see me @wafflemamaart.
I've also decided now I've just passed the 1000 mark on Insta and 100 sales on Etsy, that it's time to run a couple of giveaways. I am going to leave this to the new year now though due to funds and crazy postal services over Christmas, but keep an eye out as there'll be a few bits up for grabs in what will hopefully be a happier 2021!
The first newbie on the shop is some mini wearable art necklaces which are currently £7.50 including postage and make a nice little gift. These took some experimenting to get right but I'm happy with them and just putting together some new designs.
I've also converted some of my prints into dictionary page illustrations which work well and look great in A4 and A5 with prices starting at £5.99 inc postage.
I've also added some retro style prints working in the same colour palette so they can hang side by side.
I also added some print packs, so you can get three prints that hang well together such as yellows or rock and roll themed. I'm adding prints all the time and working on new products for the new year too. If you need a little gift right now that won't break the bank, please do check out my shop here - https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/WafflemamaShop and use discount code WAFFLE10 for 10% off anything in store.
