Big Adventures With The Little Life Daysack

When the kids were just walking, they both had toddler reins in the form of the Little Life back packs. You may be familiar with the little bags, with a built in rein for the child, soft comfortable straps and even a little rain hood tucked away - adorable! They come in all sorts of colours, but we chose a dinosaur design for Alf as well as a ladybird for Soph.

I was so sad when they outgrew those little back packs and no longer needed the reins! Little did I know, that Little Life also do kids size versions of these, minus the rein part but with more space for storage and longer straps for growing children.

We were kindly sent one recently for Soph to test drive and opted for Soph's favourite, the pink Minnie Mouse bag, it even has a little tail! Needless to say, this went down extremely well when it arrived at our house and Soph loved it, with it's instantly recognisable features such as the ears and bow, but also the fact that it's a bag and she is obsessed with them.

I thought I'd share how we got on and give a little more information about these brilliant little bags.

Key features

  • Suitable for ages 3 and up
  • Zipped top entry to main compartment
  • Internal name and address label
  • Adjustable shoulder straps with chest strap
  • 4 litre main compartment
  • Top grab handle

Although we opted for the Minnie mouse design, there are a few different options available, such as Buzz Lightyear, The Gruffalo, as well as regular animal and colour choices. The design of these bags are so simple, but they are really built to last, with high quality fabric and stitching. The fit of the bag is very comfortable for kids, with padded straps and a chest strap to support the bag and avoid slipping on the shoulders.

There's plenty of space in the bag for use at school or nursery, as well as days out. You can easily fit books, a change of clothes and lunch in here for a little one with no problems. Plus, this little one adores it!

Soph has loved trying this out and it is definitely her favourite bag so far. These bags have an RRP of £26.99 and would be an amazing gift for any child this Christmas and beyond. Another fab Little life product and I'm so glad we got to try one! Highly recommended by me and my Soph.
