Christmas Gifts || Home Style

I love coming up with gift ideas to share here, but this year I thought I'd keep it simple with a stocking fillers guide as lets face it, we all love those little bits. A kids guide with a difference, full of beautiful wooden toys and quirky finds, and finally this one, a gift guide for the home, maybe even a slightly quirky one at that.

If you know someones taste and home style well, you can be sure that buying a gift for their home will go down well, it's something that will last a long time and also bring a smile when they see it. If you're not entirely sure on what they will love, you could opt for a picture frame in their colour scheme or a smaller safer home gift option, like scented candles or reed diffusers. I'd recommend avoiding things that have a Christmas theme as in just a matter of days, whatever item it is will go away into storage for the next year. Instead, opt for something you know they will love, or that is a safe neutral bet providing comfort, warmth or good scents.

Trying to cater for a range of budgets, tastes and themes here's my selection for home lovers this year.

The crowd pleasing ones

1. Pine candle HM | 2. Trigg wall vessels | 3. Bomb cosmetics reed diffuser  | 4. Small terrarium - Asda | 5. Wire letters - Hema | 6. Metal photo frame - HM | 7. Pom-Pom blanket HM | 8. Ceramic vase - Asda | 9. Stormtrooper decanter

The ones that every one is going to love, well at least one of them anyway. From Star Wars decanters, to wire frame EVERYTHING, these are some beautiful gifts. I love the simplicity of the pop pom blanket and candle, truly gifts that everyone will enjoy.

The cool ones

1. Samurai knife set - FMAG | 2. Octopus Cushion - Hema | 3. Geo wine rack - Hema* | 4. Chalk globe - Asda | 5. Diamond glasses - Prezzybox | 6. Google Home | 7. Cactus cushion - Asda | 8. Light up numbers | 9. Cactus egg cosy set - Hema

For someone that embraces the quirky things in life, this selection from cactus egg cosies to your very own collection of samurai swords knives should go down a treat. How cool are these?! When in doubt, geometric or nautical items like the beautiful gifts from Hema are perfect for your quirky one this Christmas.

The retro ones

1. Vinyl coasters | 2. Bottle opener | 3. Tea set - Wayfair | 4. Wild & Wolf phone | 5. Round mirror - HM | 6. Deer plate - Asda | 7. Retro hairdryer | 8. Kitten xmas cushion | 9. Perfume bottle - Wayfair

For the one that loves a bit of vintage in their lives, here's a few purse friendly alternatives to antiques to keep their retro vibe going strong. The cat cushion is the only exception to my previous (don't buy Xmas themed gifts) rule, it's just so lovely. The hairdryer is a little off topic, but something so pretty must go on display, therefore it's decorative and has a home right here in this gift guide.

I hope you like my home suggestions, which is your favourite?
