June has been so hot and sunny, I've enjoyed it some days but after a big heat wave I've been so relieved to have a cold evening today and an even colder trip to Aldi! I'm not built for heat, I'm too wobbly, too pale and having been a bit poorly, the sun and heat hasn't helped. It's been a good month though, with my blog finally being fixed, work picking up and a holiday to look forward to. We've enjoyed designing our kitchen which is coming together nicely and carried on with our mass declutter across the house and it's looking so much better. We've had some fun sea side trips, lots of shopping and lots of outdoors fun with picnics and walks. I struggle so much with lack of energy but I'm really trying to keep doing as much as I can. I must admit though I am so excited for our holiday in July and getting away from the norm! We are heading back to beautiful Bluestone Wales and so ready for it. Here's a bit more about June for me...
LIFE IN june
Wearing - The sunshine really brought out my inner girlyness in May, less so in June where it was more Morticia than Morello. I adore my head scarves and bandannas and have mega stocked up, I think I must have well over 50 now and at least one for every out fit! Slightly addicted.
Food & Drink - June has been all about the BBQs, you have to make the most of the outdoors and BBQ meals are just so easy, tasty and filling. Our favourite was at Moggs Eye beach, there was absolutely nobody there apart from us and loads of flowers, butterflies and evening sun.
Watched - In June I've got addicted to Love Island on Netflix, so I'm caught up on series one and most of two. I never knew why people liked it but it's so moreish and I get it now. It's interesting to watch, cringe inducing and makes me feel very very old, but I love it.
Disliked - My dislike for June is just people. It just seems that most people are utterly selfish, out only for themselves and don't give a thought to anyone else. I find it so sad that people are like this, especially around my kids.
Loved - I loved that everyone is helping to save bees with their sugary water, I've loved being at the beach and I've loved getting myself better and feeling happy and healthy.
