I'm really enjoying time with baby S and having fun with her. Her big brother A has always been very high energy but S has a much more chilled out character and will entertain an activity far longer which means we can do a little more at home. Cue the tough spot.
Today we played with dry spaghetti and pasta tubes. The cullenders meant S could thread the spaghetti through and she could also practise easy threading with the penne pasta.
S has been having a great time threading as well as tipping, scooping and sweeping, all good for those fine motor skills that will later help develop things like her writing.
One of our favourites, a super quick and easy morning activity that brought us lots of smiles and held her attention for a long time, brilliant!
