Goodbye May: Monthly Roundup

To round up the month nicely I thought I'm start a little round up post of all my favourites from all areas of my blog. This month we've seen some amazing weather and I've had chance to try out a few new products and visit new places too.

Blog Favourites

My most popular post by far this month was this one showing some of our favourite childhood toys. I loved looking back at all those plastic bundles of fun! My favourite photo post of the month has to be my close up from the butterfly house, I love the detail and just find them fascinating.

My favourite blogs to read this month have been What Katy Said, Quite Frankly She Said, You Baby Me Mummy, Sarah & Louise - Mums The Word, and I loved Aby's (YBMM) time saving tips best of all.

It's been a great month blog wise and I'm super excited about June and a few things I have in the pipeline especially a few new giveaways which I know are always popular. I've worked with some fun brands in May from Halfords to my ambassador intro with Topps.

Fashion Favourites

This month I am totally obsessed with jumpsuits and in case you''re wondering - yes, I do own one now, though I am still dreaming of the Boohoo wrap one in black - soon, soon!

I also got some new trainers, I've wanted some hidden wedges trainers for ages and found a bargain pair of Puma's in TK Maxx which I just happened to have vouchers for - double thumbs up!

Food!

The sunshine makes it so much easier to eat healthier and I've loved having barbecues more than anything. We are total meat addicts in this house so barbecue season is a total dream. I've been making home made burgers both on and off the BBQ and discovered some lovely hot sauces from Lingham's to accompany my salads and meats (and everything else!), as well as some classic Opies gherkins I was sent to try - these are perfect in burgers and make them taste so much better and more authentic.

Its all about the meat and condiments for me, but I do love a bit of salad too and our Julienne peeler gets some serious abuse these days! These are fab for making home made coleslaw, chunky salads and my absolute favourite is shredding courgette for my salad (raw), it's really filling, delicious and so good for me too.

Health & Fitness

I've loved trying out some products this month to help curb my appetite from Forza shakes, Satiereal supplements and more recently a trial for Gravitate Nutrition.  I was also sent some amazing skates for a little retro fitness and have made myself get out for more walks when I can which the dog is very happy about.

I can't wait to see what fun happens in June and I hope everyone else has a great month too.
