One of my favourite things to come from starting my blog has been having the opportunity to try out some fantastic new products and I love the beauty based ones that allow me to have a little 'me time'. I rarely get to spoil myself with decent cosmetics or have too much time to dedicate to myself so I absolutely love these reviews!
The difference in my skin over the past year, just from taking a little more care with my skin and putting more time into keeping it clean, clear and in better condition is incredible. I feel that I have massively reduced the age of my skin and slowed the whole process down in terms of skin damage.
Review: Ginvera Green Tea Exfoliating Marvel Gel
I was recently introduced to a new product from a brand called Ginvera, and offered their 'miracle' Green Tea Marvel Gel. I try not to believe the hype with beauty products as everyone has very different skin types and what can be well received with one can be non beneficial to another, especially with pale sensitive skin like mine!

The Marvel gel sounded very different from anything I had tried before so I was intrigued to give this a shot. This gel is an exfoliator, but not your usual gritty mixture, but instead a smooth cool green gel ,that is to be applied directly to dry skin with your fingers and massaged in, then simply washed or wiped away.
I'm really not a fan of getting my face wet, so although I love exfoliating my face, I hate the rinsing off afterwards so it really puts me off bothering. Because of this, I loved the sound of this product and couldn't wait to give it a try.
A 60g bottle of this gel costs £19.99 from all Harvey Nichols stores as well as the Janiro website, This gel already has some amazing feedback from bloggers and beauty experts worldwide and seems to have caused quite a stir! This really is like nothing you have tried before.
Application
The bottle has a nice large opening and is very soft meaning you will have no trouble using every single speck of product and is designed to stand nozzle down which always makes things easier.
When the gel comes out, it's soft, cool and smooth with a gentle and pleasant fragrance. Once you start applying this to the skin and massaging in, you begin to feel the magic happening, it's literally rubbing out the dirt in your skin and you can see it coming off. The product is wet, not at all greasy or oily and absorbs nicely into the skin. A little goes a long way which is good for a little bottle like this, but if I could lather it all over my body I really would! The gel works by dissolving and removing old skin cells from the top layer of skin, leaving fresh happy skin in it's place. The green tea helps prevent oils and pimples on the skin too - even better.

Results
The results of this gel were so much better than expected. This product more than lives up to the hype and I could not believe how smooth and soft my skin felt afterwards, without a trace of residue or product. After using this (and wiping with a basic wipe) my skin is baby soft and smooth and with the first weeks use my skin is noticeably more even and clearer from blemishes. This has to be one of the best beauty product I have tried so far in terms of making my skin feel clean! There is nothing worse than products that leave the skin greasy or slimy and this doesn't at all.
Applying makeup after using this was a dream, my foundation went on smoother, I didn't need my primer and I needed a lot less foundation due to the skin being so much smoother and moisturised,
Verdict?
I am very pleased with the results and I would recommend this and would definitely buy again. My skin looks visibly clearer and younger already. I am head over heels in love with this product and my skin is too. Although extremely sensitive, I had no issues with irritation and actually enjoyed the feel of this on my skin, it is very refreshing.
This gel gets a huge thumbs up from me!
