November has been fun, slightly festive and quite a bit fattening! We've kind of embraced the festive foods a little earlier, so my job for the next few weeks is to shed a little timber for Christmas. We've had lots of lovely family days, a child free day together while the kids were in school and lots of shopping trips.
Blog wise I've had a steady month but I have been giving myself a lot more time off, trying out some earlier nights and a lot more sleep. I knew that lack of sleep was getting to me, but it was amazing that after just a few nights of extra snooze time I felt so much more energetic and happier in the day. This is something I am going to try and keep up, it was nice to pop the laptop away in the evening sometimes too.
THINGS I ENJOYED IN november
Wearing - November has been mostly sponsored by the parka coat, brought to you by the letters c-a-s-u-a-l! It's all been about keeping warm, getting those layers going, covering up with head scarves and bringing out some old favourites from last winter, alongside some new bits. I've calmed down on the mustard a little this month, going back to black and enjoying the comfort and simplicity of leggings and hoodies. No style icon here, but a month of feeling pretty good.
Food & Drink - November has seen the early arrival of many mince pies, a new found love for Fanta zero and my highlight- a family meal at Zizzis!
Watched - During November we've mainly watched Godless, the start of the new series of Peaky Blinders (my favourite right now), Blue Planet, First Dates and caught up a little more on the soaps before the big Christmas story lines.
Disliked - The main thing I've not liked in November is school runs. I make no secret of the fact that I despise them any way, with rushed mornings, catty women and stress, it's not my idea of a good wake up call!

Loved - We loved seeing the first flurry of snow last week and enjoyed the build up to December and all things Christmassy! I've loved shopping, less for others but there's some really lovely winter bits in stores at the moment.

Favourite Photo - I love this photo of me and Soph. It may not be the best quality, but it's a day I'll always remember. A nice girly day out, lunch together and a break through after weeks of tantrums from us both. I've loved spending days with her the last few weeks so much, she's amazing.
