I love dressing up for winter and for me, it's all about the casuals, layering and being comfortable, whilst feeling good too. I work from home, so I don't need anything fancy and definitely don't need anything restrictive, so thought I'd share some things in stores and online that I love that are perfect for this colder weather. With plenty more icy days to come, it's still a good time to invest in some new warm clothes. Roll on pay day!
The first look is for those days where I'm not feeling jeans or too much colour. I love pinafore dresses, layered with a higher necked body suit it's warm but feels and looks good on. I'd add some thick warming tights, some decent warm and grippy boots with a figure hugging coat. I love this one.
This second look is for braver days, where I'm more keen to embrace a little more colour, pattern and of course, fluff. For some reason I'm a little obsessed with faux fur at the moment and love these all out full pattern coats. To compliment the leopard pattern, I'd pair with block colours, a base of high waisted jeans and a vest, with a bright knit on top. Accessories wise I'd glam it up with a nice handbag like this Michael Kors beauty, and some comfy trainers like these fur lined high top Vans for added warmth and a good mix of casual vs glam.
