In a stark contrast from last month, this month I've dabbled with a bit more colour and even a full colour dress with no black in sight! Here's a sneak peek of a review dress I was sent this week which I absolutely LOVE! It came just in time for a friends wedding and I can't wait to tell you all about it all!
I do feel that although I am far from where I want to be size wise (as well as where I need to be for health and back probs), I am a lot happier and feeling more confident in dressing myself again at the moment. This is something I've struggled with for a good few years now so is a very welcome relief. I think it's a funny age when you think maybe you should dress a little bit more grown up, but then you still feel the same as you did when you were a teen, yet look rediculous in the old clothes! It's taken a while but I think I have found my Mama style.
Once again this month (as you can see) I am loving florals and with this being the perfect time of year for a little colour injection, even more so than usual. There are lots of things 'in fashion' that just don't suit me (crop tops, bum out jeans, fishnets to name a few), I'm 'too big' for or that simply I don't like, so I do often feel a little limited when shopping. It's hard to strike that balance between dressing like Mavis that works in accounts and that ten year old that lives round the corner!
Here's a few favourites from this month though. Let me know what you think! I'm loving my Adidas top under pinafores for easy wear in the day with simple footwear and gorgeous florals and patterns for when I'm feeling a little more glam.
