Last Minute Christmas Gift Ideas...

A day or two before the big day and shock horror, you've forgotten somebody. We've all done it, but panic not, there are always options!

Here's a few quick, easy grabs and makes for those last minute gifts this week.

Bake!

Whip up a batch of simple cookies, cakes or bakes and wrap them up nicely. A thoughtful homemade gift and if you have everything in store, you don't even need to leave the house.

Gift cards

All the big supermarkets now have a huge range of gift cards for most major high street stores, meals out, music downloads and even visa gift cards to use anywhere! Everyone loves guilt free shopping and gift cards will go down well all round. If you can't get to a big store, then post offices stock their one4all cards that can be used in most shops and online too. You can even buy vouchers online to download or email straight to the recipient!

Charity gifts

For the person that has it all, why not go online and get a charity gift such as supplying a family in need with a goat! Presentaid.org have a great selection.

Mix tape

Go old school and make a friend or loved one a mix tape (cd!) Include all the songs that are special to you both; make a personalised cover and write a funny or soppy message inside and you're good to go!

Scratch cards

I have to admit I love a scratch card or two and I think they make great extras for presents. You can get several ranging from £1 to £10 and even a £5 gift set.

Personalised hamper/sweet jar

Super simple jars of favourite sweets or a thoughtful hamper of their favourite things make great gifts. You needn't spend a fortune on a fancy basket, just wrap a box in wrapping paper and add nice ribbon and labels. For the jars just fill with sweets and decorate. You can grab everything you need at the supermarket and it shows thought has been put into it, even if it was last minute! They will never know.

I hope that has given you a few ideas for those last minute panics. If all else fails stick some cash in a card so they can treat themselves!

Happy shopping,
