Tea For Two - With OXO Tot

This week has been pretty manic so far to say the least. The boys of the house are both really poorly, as in completely riddled with flu, burning hot temperatures and super sick. Us girls are steering well clear!

It's been a week of one on one girl time with my favourite baby girl so far this week and I decided to make us a little treat today after our playgroup and shopping trip, just for something a little different.

I was recently sent a gorgeous Riverford fruit box and some of the OXO Tot's fab range of toddler goodies to get creative with. I was asked to come up with something from the items sent and although my first thought was to make smoothies, I instead decided for an healthy afternoon tea for two as I needed something simple that S could help me make and enjoy eating too.

As we are complete fruit addicts in our house, I decided to go for simple fruit stacks to look like little cakes with a cherry (grape!) on top. S loves fruit and cake too, so I knew she would love eating these little towers and love making them too!

Baby helped me stack the delicious fruit and pop in the little Easter themes toppers. The toppers held the fruit in place and added a nice little touch to make it look more like a little party! The grapes looked like little eggs too, so it really fitted the theme. I popped a few chocolate eggs on for us to share as well, it is nearly Easter after all!

We even made a few for our favourite boys, the vitamins will do them good!

We've reviewed a selection of OXO Tot goodies before and they are just brilliant for little hands, really robust, easy to grip and non-slip making them safer for clumsy little people (like me)! I loved using the little bowls as they come with an airtight lid so I could easily pop her leftovers away for tomorrow. These cups are both kids favourite to use, I think they like the big straws and the fact they store quite a large amount of drink inside.

I love them too, as they are non spill, they hang on the pushchair and are very easy to clean. The OXO Tot accessories were perfect for our little tea party and S loved using her sectioned plate and fork to eat her fruit and snacks.

The fruit stacks went down really well and looked lovely on our little table too. You can make these with any fruits and they are really fun for kids to make themselves, whilst being a much healthier alternative to cake and a lot prettier to look at!

We loved our gorgeous fruit box from Riverford and enjoyed using all the delicious fresh fruit to make our snacks. If you like the look of our OXO Tot products, you can view the full range here.
