8 Mother's Day Craft Ideas For Kids

Mother's Day is this coming Sunday! You may just need a last minute craft activity this week for your toddler/kids and this is the perfect excuse to get crafty, creating a mini masterpiece for a Mum or grandparent in your life. Hand made presents always go down well, but sometimes we just need a little burst of inspiration to get us started.

Here are 8 of my favourite Mother's Day Pinterest finds for our little crafters to get stuck into this week. You'll find the links to the tutorials just below the pictures if you need help making.

1. Simple Footprint flowers by Emma Owl | 2. Cake paper flower card by I Heart Crafty Things | 3. Gorgeous little paper bouquet by Fun Crafts Kids | 4. Hand Print flower bookmark by The Darice craft Blog

I love the simplicity of the footprint card, so easy to make but such a lovely long lasting memory to make for someone special. Flower crafts are a favourite of ours and always turn out well. These ideas are super simple using materials most of us have at home already, but are really effective.

1. I love you because ... flowers by Busy Creating Memories | 2. Footprint bears by Crafty Morning | 3. Chocolate puddle lollies by Ren Behan | 4. Hand print flowers by Glued To My Crafts Blog.

I love the idea of kids popping down all the reasons their Mum is the best, I think I would cry getting that! Bears are just the best, so footprint Mama and baby bears are naturally amazing. Most of us love chocolate and these puddle lollies are so easy to make and for kids to decorate, they'd make an amazing gift. Lastly, little hand shape flowers are the perfect way to make a lasting memory of those little hands we hold along the way.

I can't wait to get crafting with my two this week. Will you be trying any of these out?
