Summer Home Wish List // Living Space

I love a bit of virtual shopping and when it comes to buying home decor and furniture, I just can't help myself. Having a home that we feel comfortable in but also reflects our tastes and needs is an absolute must, so it's no wonder my love for home shopping grows more and more by the day.

We recently upgraded our main living room sofa but kept our old ones too for the play room. The new sofas are gorgeous but the old ones in comparison look like they've been dragged in off the street! We also added a feature wall which is simply gorgeous but does mean the rest needs to be brought up to scratch to go alongside. I'd love a few more treats to bring the downstairs living spaces close to perfection.

There is so much I'd like to refresh at home and with so much out there right now I thought I'd share my current favourites. Oh, and yes of course this features a cactus!

1. Lampshade - Trouva | 2. Sideboard - Chiltern Oak  | 3. Cactus cushion - Deco Cube | 4. Book shelves - Chiltern Oak | 5. Sofa - Fishpools | 6. Rug - Benuta | 7. Lamp - Made | 8. Knitted pouffe - Homescapes

I don't think I'll ever tire of styling our home, it's so much fun especially adapting for the seasons and changing colour schemes. I just need more rooms to have fun with as we are slowly running out of space!

I still have a love for duck egg, shabby chic furniture and all things mustard, as well as a good mix of old an new, fluffy and industrial. I love the variation of textures like the knit on the pouffe, embroidery on the cushion and harsh metal lines of the lamp and shade. Who says you have to stick to one style? I think combining more than one works so well, especially involving old and new.

At the moment I'm really loving the look of the old letterpress drawers used as shelves too. My in laws have one filled with tiny trinkets and it looks amazing, I love this one from Etsy, it's perfect!

What would be on your home wish list this Summer? Would you choose anything from mine?

This is a collaborative post, all thoughts and words are my own.
