Kids Crafts >> Floral Bug Frame

This months Bostik challenge was to make a creepy crawly themed craft activity. Alf has been bugging me for weeks (excuse the pun) to decorate a picture frame, so I decided this would be just the thing, to make a nice floral buggy frame for their playroom. This frame cost 50p from our local charity shop, but if you don't have one you could always make one out of an old card board box!

You will need

An old picture frame | Bostik glue tabs | Flower shapes | Black card | Scissors | Pencil

How to make

Start by attaching your flower shapes (fabric or card) with the foam pads.

Carry on sticking your flowers on, layering as you go.

Make sure all gaps on your frame are covered, with various sizes of flowers.

Next, roughly sketch some bug shapes in pencil on your black card and cut out. If you need ideas for shapes, Google!

Like the flowers, attach your bug silhouette shapes on top, using the foam pads.

Once you've finished sticking, pop your favourite photo inside.

Proudly display your frame!

The kids loved helping make this, so they had another go all by themselves with their own mini frames for their rooms.

I hope you like this one, let me know if you try it!
