Simple Valentine's Craft Idea
With Valentine's Day coming up, it's a great excuse to get crafting at home. I'm a little obsessed with wreaths as they are so simple to make and adapt for every occasion, so this is exactly what our chosen Valentine's craft is this month for Bostik Bloggers. Using a few basic items you can make something really pretty to put away for use year after year and get the whole family involved in the making (if you want to that is).
You will need
- Large piece of cardboard
- Colour and pattern card/papers
- String/ribbon
- Glue
- Scissors
Step one
Mark out your circular base/hoop shape by drawing round plates.
Step two
Cut out the circle base.
Step three
Prepare your heart shapes by drawing and cutting out. Use a template if you prefer or draw/cut freehand for a little more variation.
Step four
Start layering your hearts with glue, overlapping the edges slightly as you go. Leave to dry.
Step five
Fill any gaps with smaller hearts, stickers and gems.
Step six
Attach string to the back in a loop with strong tape.
Finished!
Your wreath is now ready to hang as a pretty Valentine's decoration in your home.
