Makeup and me..
I've always been a HUGE fan of makeup, I started wearing it really young as we did dancing shows and had lots of stage makeup, which I thought was great despite the fact I was quite a Tom boy growing up and not the most girly person in the world.
I've always been a little obsessed with makeup, but over the past year this has grown big time and I absolutely love it! For me, it's a few minutes of my day just for me and makes me feel good. This is why if you see me on a school run or something, you can bet I'll be made up whatever the weather.
Last year me and a friend did a makeup course for a day in Nottingham and learnt some really good skills and got introduced to new products, as well as old ones like bronzer that I had but never used as I had no clue how and where to use it. Since then, my makeup stash has slowly increased and being a member of a Facebook group revolving around makeup has given me even more inspiration and excitement for makeup. It's not just about looking good, it really is an art, takes a LOT of skill to do well and is really fun, though a little pricey in places.

I'm learning all about contouring which I haven't yet mastered and look more like I'm in army training, but best of all learning about highlighting the face and some amazing eyeshadow looks which I stalk on YouTube constantly, they make it looks so easy! There are some great high street options product wise and I'll post about some of my favourites soon, but here is my current (never mind the bank balance) dreamy wish list, aren't they beauts?
1. Charlotte Tilbury Brush Set | 2. DuWop Lip Venom | 3. Kat Von D Tattoo Liner | 4. Hourglass Surreal Light | 5. Estee Lauder Double Wear | 6. Beverly Hills Contour Kit | 7. Benefit Goof Proof | 8. Sunday Riley Good Genes | 9. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palette
You can bet that I would have these all winging their merry way to me right now if I could and I so want to try them all especially the Good Genes, which although not technically makeup, sounds like it does wonders for the skin so would make an amazing base point.
What's on your wish list this year?
