After years of being told I should do something with my art, but never quite feeling good enough to progress, this is the year of doing and I have finally moved in the right direction.
This week, despite seriously still lacking self confidence I decided to bite the bullet and open my Etsy store. I'm still working on art work for it and I've no idea if anyone will like what comes out of my often slightly odd brain, but it's worth a try and something I adore.
So far, there's a few basic prints up for download to test the water, though I'm not going to promote too much until I've stocked up a little more and have a better and more diverse collection of prints. My next step is to find someone to print my images and send directly to buyers as I'd prefer not to do it from home and it seems like the most straightforward way.
Here's the link to my store!
I'm entirely new to Etsy, I've never purchased or sold on the site before so it's all going to be a huge learning curve for me. I've already had some good feedback, so I'm hoping once I sort the shop completely and get advertising, that I may even get a few sales too. Fingers crossed!
If anyone can point me in the direction of any good blogs or tips for working with Etsy, I'd be very grateful. If you use Etsy yourself, please pop over and 'favourite' my store! Let me know what you think and if you happen to know any printers that work with Etsy artists, please let me know that too!
