Valentine's Day || Say It With (Prestige) Flowers

I love getting flowers given to me and I don't care what anyone says, they are the perfect Valentine's gift too! Getting flowers without having to give birth to a small human first is every bit a win in my book, so I was delighted to get the chance to review one of the gorgeous Valentine's day bouquets from Prestige flowers this week, in the form of some beautiful classic roses with some extra treats thrown in.

Valentine's day does give most of us a much needed shove in the romantic direction, as real life can often put things like that to the bottom of the pile as busy working parents. I love the idea of getting flowers by post and couldn't wait for mine to arrive.

When my flowers came, they arrived in a huge white box via Royal Mail. In all honesty, I'd expect a box of flowers sent by post like that to be empty stems with a box full of petals by the time they arrive, but these were in perfect condition and so pretty. I've never sent flowers before but after feeling that excitement and happiness of a box like this, I'll definitely use the service myself for things like birthdays and Mother's day.

Inside the box, there's lots of protection for the flowers, they are firmly held in the box and kept in a little moist bag at the base of the stems to keep them fresh and well. The flowers also come with care instructions (great for plant loving, plant murderers like me), a personalised card from the sender and for me, the lovely surprise of a little fluffy teddy and some gorgeous luxury chocolates. I'm a lucky girl!

The flowers were in perfect condition, they hadn't been bashed at all, there were no loose petals and nearly a week on they look as good as new still with only a few leaf curls, which I can just remove to refresh the display. This really is a truly stunning bouquet and I love all the different textures of the added foliage and gold highlights.

You can add a bear into your flower order for just £5.99 and it's such a sweet little touch! Chocolates and a bear can be added as a package for just £10, making it the ultimate classic Valentine's day surprise. I didn't manage to get a photo of the chocolates inside as the kids beat me to it unfortunately! Rest assured though, they were delicious and very good quality.

I can't fault the service from Prestige flowers. The collection of gifts and flowers are of high quality, they arrived perfectly with no hiccups or damage and I may just have done a bit of a girly squeal when I opened that big box!

If you're on the look out for a reliable flower delivery service, I can definitely recommend Prestige.  I was really surprised when looking on the website at how affordable they are too, probably half what I expected!
