As I've mentioned 3 or 4 thousand times before, I love love love Autumn, with my favourite thing being the cosiness of home and warmer layered clothing. Having a new season to shop for is always fun, and this one is the best.
Every year I try and treat myself to a new jacket of some kind as well as some boots. I'm not a shoe hoarder kind of girl, but boots are definitely a guilty pleasure of mine! Ideally, I'd have a sensible grippy pair for walking in, a gorgeous pair of knee/over knees and some kind of ankle boot to wear with jeans, to dress up or down.
Here's a few things I found on my Amazon hunt that are perfect for this time of year when you just need a little more warmth and ever so slightly more sensible footwear. I don't really do heels, but do love a good chunky heel or wedge boot this time of year.

I don't think I'll ever fall out of love with parka coats and jackets, I just love the style especially with a drawn in waist and fluffy hood. With faux fur in mind and something to wear to the pub or a daily layer ,I love this biker jacket with fur trim. For casual days I love this pocketed cardigan/coat, it comes in grey too and would just go with everything. a simple raincoat like this black one is the perfect Autumn staple to combat the unpredictable weather.

As I said above, in the ideal world I'd have at least three new pairs of boots each winter. A knee high pair to wear out dressed up, or dressed down for shopping. The same with a nice pair of leather ankle boots and lastly a nice but sensible pair for gripping the slippy streets and paths like the Timberland boots. I like the softer blue colour as opposed to the usual tan too.
