Home Style || Halloween Buys At HomeSense

Another aspect of Autumn that we all love is Halloween, just a couple of weeks away now. I've always loved it, but since having kids it's even more exciting. Taking a teeny sparkly witch and her snake doctor sidekick brother door to door to trick or treat, is something we look forward to all year round.

When it comes to decorating the home, Halloween isn't one we have a big stash of decorations for, but each year the decor creeps up and there is always, at the very least a themed display in our front bay window. It seems so much more popular now and I love the fact that although it isn't for everyone, some people go all out and it's a really fun, spooky time.

HomeSense as always have stocked for the season with lots of beautiful tableware, gifts, sweets and decorations. I was  invited down to check out the latest collections and it didn't disappoint. With most occasions at HomeSense, they always have a range of snow globes to fit the theme and Halloween is no different and possibly my favourite. From skulls to spooky scenes these are so beautifully made and a decoration that can be packed away, taken out year after year.

If you're having some kind of Halloween party, there's a huge range of disposable and reusable plates cups and treat bowls, as well as lots of decorations to help us make our homes spooktacular this Halloween.

Aside from table decorations, there's also some much bigger ornaments and decorations for those that want to go all out on the theme. These grave stones are creepy but very cool! I love the name on this one.

I decided to get a couple of new things to add to our front window display, to go alongside our lit up pumpkin. I found this pretty lace skull which may just stay out all year round, it's made of porcelain so great quality, true to size and makes for an eerie display.

As well as the skull, I got this beautiful little terrarium which of course can be used all round but I thought would look great filled with (faux - battery) candles and maybe some kind of creepy caged creature inside!

We loved having another snoop around HomeSense this weekend and seeing all the fab Halloween bits, many of which are going in the sale right now too. I can't wait to create our spooky window!
