Holiday Prep!

Baby S turns one on Sunday and we decided to make it special by having a family holiday. We decided to stay down in the West country near Exeter and literally can't wait for the day to come! Typical of us to go away the first week of the school holidays when our kids aren't school age, but I'm sure it will be fun.

I'm just trying to get my head around the packing and the sheer volume of things we may need! The weather sounds like it will be anywhere from frosty, floods or tropical, so we are having to pack for every possible outcome.

We are having a zoo day and a few other days out, so will need the pram, the sling, a full array of coats, hats and shoes as well as suncream, Calpol, wellies, umbrellas and the kitchen sink.

I've got lists of lists at this point and beginning to wonder if I might have to leave somebody at home just to make room for things!
To add to the fun we are taking our little dog Peg. Luckily, she is tiny so will be on my lap/head out the window for the journey and requires very little packing wise!

Wish me luck. I'm currently looking at a pile the size of Everest that has to somehow magically fit into a Vauxhall Vectra. Bring on the Tetris skills!

Happy holidays,
