This week I will be introducing you to the lovely Lena who will be telling you more about her busy job in a nursery.
Lena Hedges
Age: 34
A few facts about you: I am half Spanish, I'm southern and live in Bedfordshire but lived in Sheffield for 10 years, I have 2 dogs, I studied Film at University, I used to own a company teaching men to be better transvestites (including make up, nails, clothes and deportment).
What's your job? Head chef and kitchen manager in a children's nursery.
How long have you been doing it? I have been in this job a year and half.
What do you like best about it? I love to cook and spend time with kids when I'm not too busy.
What is the worst thing about it? It's very hot and hectic.
Would you recommend it? Yes!!
Any funny stories? Whilst making my first ever Christmas dinner at my previous head chef job, the turkey wasn't cooked in time and I literally flapped my hands up and down and spun around in circles...my manager had to send me out side to calm down! Of course I fixed it and dinner went out on time.
What's your dream job? Fashion Journalist.
Would you carry on if you won the lottery? No, I would stay long enough to find a replacement and train them (as I respect the people I work with) but then I would leave so I concentrate on my writing.
