Christmas Gift Guide || Home Decor Edition

Buying home items for someone can be risky business, you have to either know what they want and need - or - 100% know their style of decor and accessories. The last thing you want to do is to buy gifts that won't be loved, so if you aren't sure what style your recipient is into, you either need to think again and buy something different, do a little research or buy something that's an all round crowd pleaser, something that anyone would have a use for somewhere in their home, whilst remaining an appealing and thoughtful gift. It's not the easiest sector for shopping, but it can be the most well received if you get it right.

Technology

A good bit of tech is always a welcome addition to any home, but if you need a little inspiration, check out this little lot from Amazon which if you're quick could be even better value with the current sales for black Friday and cyber Monday.

Popular home gifts

For some simple gift ideas that may even come in useful or spread a smile, check out these goodies from The Range, in store and online. Any kind of small storage is always useful for families and multi frames make a great gift giving the recipient a feature to add to their home with all their favourite pictures, which, if you know them well you could even print and add yourself before gifting.

Classic winter goodies

For a more classic Christmas home gift, there's the cosy winter goodies that are always well received as well as items for more specific tastes. From candles to warm woollies, here's some gorgeous winter essentials that make perfect smaller gifts, all from H&M Home dept.

House plants

Plants are a favourite of mine, they make great gifts, they're loved by many and for anyone like me that isn't particularly green fingered, there's low maintenance options that can still thrive with neglect! Here's a few favourites of mine including a glitzy Christmas special and some long lasting beautiful plants.

Vouchers/Gift Cards

When in doubt, vouchers for their favourite home stores or stores where they can have a little more choice can be just the answer. Vouchers also mean getting more for their money in the January sales, as well as buying something they love. Sometimes people feel giving vouchers as a bit of a lazy option, but it's absolutely a valid choice, it shows your kindness of gifting, but allows them the final choice and they will still buy something that will remind them of you so it's still special. You could also attach the vouchers to a small house plant or some simple coasters to add a little more of a 'gift' element.
