Our son A is completely and utterly terrified of the dark. When he reached the grand old age of three, his imagination suddenly went wild and he started experiencing night terrors and crazy dreams. He refuses to sleep without some kind of light on and it can be really hard to find something of the right brightness that doesn't cost a fortune in batteries, or scare him even more.
We were sent this brilliant little Peppa Pig mood light from Spearmark to try, that changes colour slowly and calmly, glowing gently making a very nice subtle light around the room. A is the biggest Peppa Pig fan! The lights are super light and easy to switch on for little hands so can be really useful for night time toilet trips or taking on camping trips and sleepovers. The lights stay cool and are totally safe for little ones to handle and keep next to their beds. The characters make them really appealing and the gentle lights are perfect for a snoozy bedtime.
We kept ours on while he went to sleep and it is so calming and the slow colour changes have quite a hypnotic effect it would seem. These little lights come in a range of licensed famous characters such as everyone's favourite Minions and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! There are lots more characters to come, like Starwars Storm Troopers! These retail at just £7.99 from stores such as B&Q, Tesco and Argos.
