To help us organic our September, the lovely Scheckter's sent us some of their OrganicEnergy cans to try. We are big energy drink fans, not every day but when u need a pick me up they really do the trick, I do worry what is in them sometimes though. If we have had a bad night or Mr.W is off mountain biking, we grab a can or two for a boost. Having two small children regularly leaves us with bags under our eyes.
OrganicEnergy is the UK's only natural, organic, fairtrade certified energy drink, containing a tasty mix of sparkling spring water along with pomegranate, elderberry and lemon juice. It tastes nothing like normal energy drinks, it doesn't have that chemical/medicine flavour - do you know the one I mean? The energy comes from a blend of raw green coffee beans, green tea, guarana and ginseng so you get a sustained mental and physical energy boost. Aside from these tasting so much better than normal energy drinks, it was really nice knowing we were consuming no nasties and that our energy boost came from natural sources instead.
As part of a healthy diet, these are really low in calories and although there is a diet version too, the 'full fat' is still very low in calories which is another plus point always.
