Christmas Toy Shopping With Wicked Uncle

Gift shopping just got easier...

With Christmas in just a few weeks, I've been doing a lot of online shopping this year. I love actual shopping but hate hate hate the crowds, especially with a toddler on the loose. Shopping from my phone or laptop saves a whole heap of stress so I've been doing more and more.

I've realised though how different sites can be in terms of user friendliness and while some have perfected their ordering system, some really haven't. I was asked to review the brilliant toy site Wicked Uncle and after seeing a few  reviews previously I was excited to browse and see all that they had to offer.

Wicked uncle is one of those sites that for me, has cracked it. When you first go to the site you are met with simple themed links such as sensory toys, outdoor toys etc and you can search based on age and other vitals which makes gift choosing super simple. there is a huge variety on the site for a range of budgets and I took this as a perfect opportunity to get some fun stocking fillers for the kids with my only problem being how to choose what to buy as they really would love it all.

I'm big on sensory toys as the kids seem to focus so well on them and it is the newest section on the website I thought it would be perfect for a first timer to explore. I chose from there a few items that the kids will completely adore, some glowing stars for Alf's bedroom, a special horn for Alf's bike, as well as a cool ball popper character for them both.

The ball poppers are my favourite of all, the site offers lots of different animals but the pig and unicorn looked the  best for my two and I loved the colours. These come with a set of foam balls and with a gentle squeeze fire the ball across the room - really far at up to 20 feet! These are so much fun and are one of those gifts that will get played with the most, even though at £7.95 they are probably one of the cheaper gifts! These are great and in my opinion all ages would enjoy them, I know I do and for anyone that has cats - yes they love chasing these too. Perfect little stocking filler, as well as being perfect for little hands to perfect their aim and precision, they look super cute too.

Alf loves anything space related so I picked up this little tin of glow in the dark stars that will look great on his ceiling and walls. These would be fab for sensory activities and make the perfect little extra for any budding space explorers.

Now up last is a very cool little gadget that kids can attach to their bike or scooter - this Mini Hornit has some brilliant features and every kid will love this one. The little hornet has 25 different sounds from UFOs to comedy horns. This is controlled by a separate button so hands don't  need to leave the handlebars nor eyes off the track. We are hopefully getting him a new scooter for Christmas so this will be the perfect companion as he speeds through the park. Here's ours and you can see the Hornit in action on the video below.

The Wicked Uncle website is perfect for family members to choose gifts, you can even have them gift wrapped and sent direct to the recipient to save re posting on arrival. I love the website and the service has been fantastic. With such a great selection of gifts and toys on offer I would definitely recommend this site to other shoppers - the only problem is narrowing down your choices when you know the kids would love it all!
