A little retail therapy...
I love clothes shopping, it's one of my favourite things to do and I'm buying more and more online recently. Having a toddler in tow around the shops is proving pretty stressful second time round and this time of year is far too busy for me. Life is far too short for all that crush and queuing.
I was kindly invited to try out a shopping website called Lesara, selling all sorts from clothing, footwear and even some gorgeous home buys. The best thing about this site is that it's totally purse friendly and offers such a huge selection for all tastes.
I have put together a little wish list of things I would love to keep me warm and feeling good this winter, check these out.
1. Hounds Tooth Sweater | 2. Mustard Beanie | 3. Jersey Biker Jacket | 4. Asymmetric Parker | 5. Hooded Trench Coat | 6. XXL Check Scarf | 7. Over Knee Boots | 8. Ethic Patterned Sweater | 9. Polka Dot Lined Jacket
As much as I love colour, I am much more comfortable wearing black and actually a big fan of pattern too. I like to add splashes of colour with accessories and completely love the over sized scarf (6), it's pretty simple but gorgeous and looks super warm - perfect for winter. I love these jumpers and I am desperate for some new over the knee boots at the moment, these ones from Lesara (7) are perfect for what I had in mind.
I spent a lot of time browsing the Lesara website and there was quite a lot that I would love to buy. I particularly liked the fact that as well as the prices being fairly low there are also a LOT of sale items making everything even more affordable. The items on this site remind me of the Wish app, but I must say I was a lot more confident buying from here and happy that my items arrived within a couple of weeks. Several of the items are like the 'shipped from China' items you find on eBay and Amazon but with a far greater selection and peace of mind. With this in mind, things like sizing can be an issue so it's definitely worth reading up on the sizing for each product before buying. For some things I would maybe expect to get away with a medium, whereas for my size I actually required an XL. Having sussed this out, I ordered the right size and my purchases are great. The customer service seems pretty good and there is no problem in returning items for an exchange or refund either - always good.
The items aren't the highest quality in the world but are definitely more than adequate for the prices and selection on offer, similar to some high street stores. There is several departments to please everyone, but looking specifically at the women's section this is pretty much a one stop shop for all clothing and accessories, as well as beauty products and sportswear.
The items I was kindly sent were the Peter Pan Collar Dress, as well as this Over sized Hooded Jacket in khaki. The dress is fab, it fits perfectly and is true to the picture, basically exactly what I wanted for those smarter days and blog events so I am really pleased with it. The fabric has a good stretch to it and is a nice quality, whilst the collar and cuffs are crisp white shirt fabric.
The over sized jacket is nice but I haven't quite worked out if it's for me yet or how I can best style it, it's definitely not one to be zipped up as it truly is over sized so I maybe would have benefited from a smaller size perhaps? I do like it though and for the price I would have been happy with it (I was sent samples for review).
Overall I really like the Lesara website, I'm all for low budget shopping but also like the security of a proper website with a good level of customer service. The items came wrapped nicely and packaged well too. It's worth buying early if you need your items for a specific event as they can take a little while to arrive but I was happy with the products, the site itself and the service.
Disclosure: I was sent the two sample items in return for review. All words are honest and my own.
