Healthy Mama || Getting Fit For Less With Aldi

I've really enjoyed getting back into doing some exercise this past couple of weeks and I feel utterly stupid for putting it off for so many years. I just felt like I'd be too weak, my back would suffer or I'd just feel silly, but I was so wrong!

I started out with just a regular tee-shirt and leggings, but very quickly realised I would need some proper gym clothing, to feel more flexible and most importantly cooler. Regular tees get super hot very quickly and normal leggings are OK, but don't feel supportive enough so I've been gradually building my kit.

This is definitely not a picture of me!

If like me you're in the midst of a fitness venture, you may be on the lookout for some cheap yet functional clothing for your home or gym workouts too. Aldi have it all sorted for us all this week with the launch of their latest Special Buys section featuring home work out accessories and clothing to exercise in, that are actually really nice and SO well priced starting at just £2.99. We were sent some samples this week and I've been really impressed with the quality, light weight fabrics and the fact they feel no different to major sports brand that charge ten times as much.

Here's some of my top picks from the current range;

Sports bra £6.99, Teeshirt £5.99, Foam roller £5.99, Sports leggings £6.99, Core trainer £29.99, Waterproof headphones £29.99, Infuser bottle £3.49, Fitness jacket £14.99

If you don't have the time or cash to join a gym right now, there's some simple effective equipment for home use, with foam mats to keep the impact low from hard floors and all the gear you need to get moving whilst keeping cool through your workout. There's trainers, vests, jackets, sports bras, literally everything we need, so there's no excuse not to get stuck in and get a little bit fitter whilst feeling and looking the part.

There's lots more in the fab fitness range at Aldi, and it's in store and online at www.aldi.co.uk right now while stocks last! This is well worth a look if you're looking to get fit for less.
