Exante Trial: Intro

After just over a year since I started my health quest, I have learnt so many things and achieved things I never thought I would. I've had successes both on and off the scales and never felt so good. I still have a long long way to go though and as I did the same kind of thing for so long, I am really enjoying switching it up and trying out some new things. I've been lucky enough to trial some great brands and products so far and I am so pleased to announce that I received an invitation from the company Exante recently, famous for helping the beautiful Sam Bailey shed her excess weight - post baby.

A colleague and I have been chatting recently about Exante and she has just signed up, so I am really excited to get started and join her, for what will be a two week challenge for me. If you haven't heard of them, Exante are predominantly a VLCD diet plan offering shakes, meal bars and a huge selection of other products, some of which are very unusual for this kind of diet so I can't wait to get stuck in.

This morning I received my food package and it was lovely to see such a good variety of food. The big selling point of Exante is the fact they are by far one of the cheapest diets of this kind and seem to offer a great variety. All that is a bonus, but it does come down to taste, satisfaction and results too as a foodie, so I am really interested to see how it scores on those fronts. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box to find mixtures for pizza, chocolate cake and noodles! My first meal was their Blueberry & Raspberry Pancakes. I'll talk more about flavours and tastes in my final review, but I will post most my meals with a description on Instagram.

As always, I'll update after a weeks progress as well as a final review and results post at the end of the two weeks. I'm really hoping to see a good chunk of weight loss again and keep it off once again too! I'll be posting on Twitter as well as my weight loss Instagram account, so if you'd like to get an idea of what I'm up to in the mean time please check those out.

Disclosure: I was sent a two week trial in exchange for an honest review, this is part one. All words are my own.
