Halloween Home: HomeSense

It's that time of year again that sees us venturing out into the creepiness of the dark with glowing pumpkins on every corner. Witches, zombies and evil clowns patrolling the streets, armed with buckets of goodies. You may even spot a couple of cheeky students dressed as hot dogs, if you're lucky.

That's right, it's Halloween time soon and HomeSense are helping us get our house styled up perfectly for the season with their awesome range of homeware, decorations and costumes. Some of this stock I love so much, I would happily have it up all year round! Here's an insight into this seasons Halloween buys, to help you get 'Spook savvy' and stylish this Halloween.

I love this wooden cut out skull and poison bottle - how fab are they? A far cry from the cheap glowing plastic I have seen strewn around the shops. HomeSense have low prices so you can give your house a seasonal makeover without breaking the bank, whilst keeping things 'spooktacular' and fun too.

My favourite of all are these spooky wall hangings, there are so many different designs like the bat picture below. I love that they have managed to source something that is both shabby chic looking and a little gothy, weirdly I think this is me all over. There are so many different items to decorate the home with for all kinds of budget. There are no plastic claws in sight (phew), but instead - delicately painted wood and porcelain spooky keepers.

Whatever you're up to this Halloween, it's definitely worth popping in store for a look at the current selection on offer. Fantastic party pieces, spooky decorations and even a few all year round goodies for a quirky home like mine. I love this pumpkin, no messy carving or pumpkin guts in sight! You can also grab some brilliant dress up costumes for all ages, well worth a look for something a little more unusual - a burger costume perhaps? They even have costumes for dogs, so the whole family can get stuck in. Whatever you are up to this Halloween, have lots of fun!
Happy haunting!
